1. About Us

Edviro Academy is operated by Excellor Academy Ltd, registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”, and “our”).
We provide live online lessons, recorded content, practice materials, and assessments for GCSE students.

2. Eligibility and Agreement to Terms

You must be 18 years old or older to agree to these Terms.

If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must complete the sign-up process and accept these Terms on your behalf.

By subscribing to Edviro Academy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. Subscriptions, Payments, and Renewals

Payment is taken at the point of subscription and then at the agreed intervals (monthly, annually, or instalments) as selected during sign-up.

All payments are processed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to adjust subscription prices at renewal. You will be notified in advance of any changes.

4. Content Access and Usage Restrictions

Our lessons, videos, assessments, and resources (the “Content”) are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
By subscribing, you are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the Content for educational purposes only.

You must not:

Share your login details with anyone.

Screen record, download, copy, or redistribute any content without permission.

Use our materials for any commercial or public display.

Attempt to bypass our security systems, decompile, or reverse engineer the platform.

We monitor login activity (including IP addresses, Zoom access, and chat logs) to detect unauthorised sharing.
Accounts found to be in breach may be suspended or terminated without refund.

5. Course Delivery

Live lessons are scheduled according to the published timetable.

Recordings and resources will remain available while your subscription is active.

Access to content ends when your subscription expires unless renewed.

6. Delays and Technical Issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control (for example, internet outages or platform downtime).
If this happens, we will:

Inform you as soon as possible; and

Take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

7. Your Legal Right to Cancel and Refund Policy

You have certain legal rights to change your mind about your subscription and request a refund, subject to the following conditions.

a. Eligibility to Cancel

If you are based in the UK or EU, you have the legal right to cancel your subscription and receive a refund within 14 days of purchase — provided you have not accessed any live lessons, recordings, or online resources during that period as these are digital products.

The 14-day period begins on:

The day you subscribed (if your plan includes live lessons); or

The course start date (if booked in advance); or

The day you subscribed (if the plan includes pre-recorded or on-demand content that has not yet been accessed).

b. Refund Conditions

Monthly Subscriptions

Refunds are not available once you have accessed any live lessons, recordings, quizzes, or online resources.
Accessing the platform in any form voids your right to a refund.

One-Time or Annual Payments

If you cancel within 14 days and have not accessed any live lessons or recordings, you are entitled to a full refund.
If you have accessed content during this period, we may provide a partial refund at our discretion, based on the proportion of the course used.

Instalment Payment Plans

Some Edviro Academy courses offer the option to pay through instalments, which allow parents to reduce the overall cost of the course by paying a discounted total upfront in structured instalments.

Example:

Monthly subscription for Maths, English & Sciences: £220/month
Course duration: 10 months
Total if paid monthly payment plan : £2,200

Instalment Plan Option:

4 monthly payments of £400
Total: £1,600

You save £400 compared to the full monthly subscription (£2,200 – £1,600)

Instalment plans are designed to provide discounted pricing and therefore operate differently from normal monthly subscriptions.

Refunds & Cancellations for Instalment Plans

Instalment plans are considered a single discounted contract, divided into scheduled instalments.

Because instalment payments unlock the discounted total, refund rules differ from normal month-to-month subscriptions.

If you cancel within the first month of an instalment plan

Example - If you cancel within the first month:

You will not be refunded the difference between the instalment payment and the standard monthly rate.

Example:

First instalment: £400
Equivalent 1-month standard subscription: £220
Difference: £180 (this is not refunded)

Instead of a refund, you will continue to receive access to lessons for the period fully covered by your payment.

In this example:

Your £400 payment covers approximately 7 weeks of tuition.

If you choose to cancel, access will continue for the remaining weeks of that period before stopping.

Why refunds are not offered on instalment discounts

Instalment plans provide discounted total pricing.
If refunds were issued based on the standard monthly rate, customers could obtain the discount while still requesting refunds, which defeats the purpose of the discounted structure.

Therefore:

Instalment payments are non-refundable once content or lessons have been accessed.

Partial refunds are not issued for instalment payments.

Access continues until the prepaid period is completed.

If you cancel after the covered period, Once the period covered by your instalment payment ends:

The subscription will stop, and future instalments will not be charged.

c. How to Cancel

To cancel, email info@edviroacademy.co.uk or Whatsapp us at +447454178698 with:

The name and email address used for your account; and

A clear statement that you wish to cancel your subscription.

Please include “Cancellation Request” in the email subject line.

d. Refund Timeline

If you qualify for a refund, it will be processed within 14 days of receiving your request.
Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
No processing fees are applied to refunds.

e. After the Cancellation Period

After the 14-day cancellation window has expired, or once you have accessed course content, no refunds will be issued except where required by law.

8. Ending Your Subscription

We may end your subscription if:

Payment is not made within 5 days of a reminder; or

You breach these Terms (including sharing login details).

You may end your subscription by contacting us before your next payment date.
Ending your subscription will stop future renewals, but refunds for previous payments or unused periods are not provided, unless required by law or covered under Section 7.

9. Changes to Services and Terms

We may update our content, services, or these Terms to:

Comply with new laws or regulations;

Improve quality, functionality, or security; or

Make necessary technical or operational changes.

You will be notified of any material changes in advance.
Continuing to use our services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Liability

We are responsible for losses you suffer that are caused by us, except when:

The loss was unforeseeable;

It was caused by something outside our control; or

It could have been avoided by following our guidance.

We do not accept liability for:

Business or commercial losses (our services are for personal use only);

Damage to devices or data caused by failure to follow our technical instructions.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you consent to us processing your data for course delivery, communication, and service improvement purposes.

12. Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns, please contact info@edviroacademy.co.uk.
If the issue cannot be resolved, disputes may be brought before the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland/Northern Ireland if you reside there.

13. Other Important Terms

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation.

You may not transfer your subscription or rights without our written consent.

If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid, the rest remains effective.

Delay in enforcing these Terms does not waive our right to enforce them later.
