Questions parents ask.
Which exam boards do you cover?
In England, every GCSE is regulated by Ofqual, the government's exams regulator. The exam boards (AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR and WJEC Eduqas) are independent, but each one has to cover the same core subject content, set by the Department for Education, and award the same 9 to 1 grades.
That is why our lessons work whichever board your child's school uses. In English, where set texts vary by board, our lessons follow AQA most closely.
We are compatible with IGCSE too: with Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, much of the content is shared.

Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (Language and Literature). Take one subject, combine a few, or take the full bundle.
How does a live lesson work?
It is a live group lesson, run as a webinar and joined from home. Each lesson covers one specific topic, taught in detail with past exam paper questions, and students ask their questions in the chat as we go.
What if my child misses a live lesson?
Every lesson is recorded, so they can catch up or rewatch it whenever they need to.
What if they still have a doubt after the lesson?
They ask in the Edviro Student Community, and we respond with a video solution.
What happens between lessons?
Each lesson comes with its digital notes and a homework made entirely from past exam paper questions, with a video solution for every question. Once a set of topics is covered, a regular assessment checks progress, building up to a termly mock exam.
My child is in Year 11 already. Is it too late?
No. Many students join in Year 10 or 11. They join the cohort for their year and catch up quickly with the recordings and notes, and Year 11 is built around past papers, revision and exam technique.
Who are the teachers?
Subject experts and examiners, each leading their subject. They are the same teachers all year, so they get to know your child.
How will we know it is working?
Regular assessments, each time we complete a set of topics, show exactly where your child is.
Do you run mock exams?
Yes. Term mocks are marked by examiners, so you know where your child stands well before the real exams.
How does the free class work?
Book a free class and your child joins a real live lesson with their year group. No card and no commitment, and we will answer any questions afterwards.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many subjects your child takes. Monthly and instalment plans are available, and prices are confirmed on the free class.
Can we cancel?
Yes. There is no contract, and monthly and instalment plans can be cancelled anytime. Just let us know at least 24 hours before your next payment date. Our terms (sections 6 and 7) explain exactly how it works.
What do students need to take part?
A laptop, tablet or phone and a stable internet connection. No camera or microphone is needed: lessons run as a webinar, and students ask their questions in the chat.
Is Edviro safe for my child?
Every lesson is recorded and we operate a written safeguarding policy. Parents can ask us about anything, at any time.
Where are you based?
We are a UK academy, and all our teachers are based in the UK. Lessons are online, in UK time, so students can join from anywhere.
